She was also the host of Weekends With Mahira on Aag TV. Her aspirations to become an actress, however, remained unfulfilled till she achieved a break through by working in the film Bol, which was directed by Shoaib Mansoor. This film released in the year 2011 and marked Mahira’s entry into the film world.
