A fresh weather system is poised to bring rainfall to various parts of Sindh, including its capital, Karachi, according to a recent forecast by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). This meteorological development stems from a low-pressure area that originated in the Bay of Bengal and subsequently moved over India. Currently, the system is situated over Madhya Pradesh and is projected to advance in a west-northwest direction, influencing regional weather patterns.
For Karachi, the PMD forecasts light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning on Monday, September 14th, and Tuesday, September 15th.
Across other districts of Sindh, varying intensities of precipitation are anticipated. From today, Saturday, September 13th, through Tuesday, September 15th, districts such as Tharparkar, Umarkot, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Sujawal, and Tando Muhammad Khan are expected to experience strong winds, dust storms, and intermittent moderate to heavy rainfall with thunder at isolated locations.
Furthermore, on Monday, September 14th, and Tuesday, September 15th, residents in Sanghar, Khairpur, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Matiari, and Jamshoro districts should prepare for strong winds, dust storms, and light to moderate rainfall, also accompanied by thunder.
The meteorological department has advised residents to stay informed about the latest updates as the system progresses and to take necessary precautions.

سندھ کے دیگر اضلاع میں بھی مختلف شدت کی بارشوں کی توقع ہے۔ آج، ہفتہ (13 ستمبر) سے منگل (15 ستمبر) کے دوران تھر پارکر، عمر کوٹ، میر پور خاص، بدین، سجاول اور ٹنڈو محمد خان کے اضلاع میں تیز ہواؤں، آندھی اور گرج چمک کے ساتھ کہیں کہیں وقفے وقفے سے درمیانی سے شدید بارش ہو سکتی ہے۔
اسی طرح، پیر (14 ستمبر) اور منگل (15 ستمبر) کو سانگھڑ، خیرپور، حیدر آباد، ٹنڈو اللہ یار، مٹیاری اور جامشورو کے اضلاع میں بھی تیز ہواؤں، آندھی اور گرج چمک کے ساتھ ہلکی سے درمیانی شدت کی بارش کا امکان ہے۔
محکمہ موسمیات نے شہریوں کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ موسم کی تازہ ترین صورتحال سے باخبر رہیں اور ضروری احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کریں۔
