Mathira is born in Harare, Zimbabwe on
February 23rd. Mathira came to Pakistan 6 years ago and successfully
started in Pakistan Showbiz industry. When asked by the represented of
Akhbar-e-Jahan that about he item songs in movies and would that she
prefer only to do an item number.
Mathira said in response, well I am not
an item girl, doing a 2 min song in a movie is not a sure shot things to
be qualified as an item girl/ she said I performed in an item song in “
Mein Hoon Shahid Afridi”
for 2 min. whether it is of 2 min but it will last an impression and
remembrance for 2 years. On Veena Malick, Mathira said, Veena has done a
C class work in India and she has no comparison with her at all.
She told Samina Peerzada, Faisal Rehman and Humayun Saeed as her favorite actors in Pakistani film industry. Shan is a great resource in Pakistani industry and is the nation’s hero.
