Meera too refuses to accept mother’s defeat for alleged rigging

LAHORE: Lollywood actress Meera has also claimed rigging in PP-283 and refused to accept her mother’s defeat, media reports said on Tuesday.

Talking to newsmen, Meera said her mother Shafqat Zehra was defeated by rigging and manipulation of election results.

Mother of Meera has filed her complaint to returning officer in Haroon Abad against alleged rigging.

This Eid two Bollywood films Chennai Express and Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2 of leading Bollywood stars Sharukh Khan and Akshay Kapoor will be banned in Pakistan.

With plans of releasing four big Pakistani movies this Eid, renowned Distributor Abdul Rashid has decided to ban two Indian films in Pakistan which may affect viewership of Pakistani films. Sharukh Khan and Akshay Kapoor have big fan following in Pakistan and fans are always eager to watch their latest flicks. Chennai Express starring Sharukh Khan and Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2 starring Akshay Kapoor are latest top releases for this Eid which have been shuned in Pakistan.

According to  Abdul Rashid, they have decided not to screen the two Bollywood movies to give a chance to four Pakistani films releasing on Eid.

“The reason is we have four big Pakistani releases lined up for Eid and this time we want to see how they fare at the box office without direct competition from Indian films,” Rashid said.

Imran and Bipasha Basu are playing lead couple in Bollywood film “Creature” being directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Bhushan Kumar. Earlier, Imran Abbas was to make his Bollwyood debut with Akshay Kumar in “Naam Hai Boss (2013)” but later on he stepped out of the film and signed “Creature” against Bipasha Basu.

Recently in an interview, Imran Abbas said: “Yes it is true that I have signed the movie Creature where I shall act with Bipasha Basu. The shooting dates are yet to be finalized. Was in Mumbai for the final discussion and shall be back again in India for the shooting of the movie very soon.”

Meera ji has troubled the Bollywood film producer Ajay Yadav for leaving his upcoming film “Bhadaas” before promotion, for which the producer has filed a complaint against her in Versova Police Station India.

Meera was not allowed to leave India until the film promotion would end, but contrary, she made an exit without even informing Ajay Yadav who is producer of her latest Bollywood film “Bhadaas”.

The annoyed Ajay Yadav said, “According to our agreement, she can’t leave the country till April 30, but she has gone without informing me. The film releases on May 24 and she won’t be here for the promotions. I can’t hold the film till she’s back, so I’ve lodged a complaint with the Versova Police Station.”
