Urdu & English

ENGLISH TITLE: Qais Ahmad Channels Shane Warne with Sensational Leg-Spin Delivery URDU TITLE: ENGLISH ARTICLE: Afghan leg-spinner Qais Ahmad recently captivated cricket fans with a stunning delivery that drew immediate comparisons to legendary Australian bowler Shane Warne. The memorable moment occurred during Afghanistan's solitary Test match against Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi. Despite an otherwise modest performance in the match, where he claimed 2 wickets for 130 runs, Ahmad produced a moment of sheer brilliance in Bangladesh's second innings. He clean bowled Bangladeshi captain Najmul Hossain Shanto with a ball that was deemed unplayable. The delivery pitched significantly outside the off-stump, almost in line with where a sixth stump would be, before spinning sharply back. It zipped between Shanto's bat and pad, dislodging the stumps between middle and leg. This extraordinary piece of bowling instantly reminded observers of Shane Warne, often hailed as the uncrowned king of leg-spin. Warne was renowned for his ability to produce seemingly impossible deliveries, famously including his 'Ball of the Century' to England's Mike Gatting, and another iconic dismissal of Andrew Strauss. Ahmad's delivery, with its sharp turn and deceptive trajectory, undeniably invoked the magic of the Australian legend. SOURCE URL: https://www.express.pk/story/2837873/qais-ahmad-or-shane-warne-a-stunning-leg-spin-delivery-has-left-everyone-amazed-2837873/
