Speaking during a television program, the former provincial minister and PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Secretary highlighted that his party has consistently condemned terrorism and has always stood by the armed forces in their struggle. Yousafzai alleged that instead of focusing on eliminating terrorism, actions have been initiated specifically against PTI. He questioned the government's true objective, asking whether it aims to eradicate terrorism or to dismantle the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He further claimed that a crackdown is underway against party workers, involving violations of the sanctity of their homes. The former provincial minister recalled that PTI has always opposed terrorism in past discussions, reaffirming the party's consistent support for the armed forces in their counter-terrorism efforts. Addressing concerns about police funding, Yousafzai clarified that the previous PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government allocated two percent of its budget to the police department, refuting any allegations of neglect. He concluded by firmly stating that PTI does not, under any circumstances, support terrorism.
