Roidad Khan, the victim's father, filed a petition through his legal counsel, alleging that the initial investigation has shown insufficient progress. According to the petitioner's lawyer, Roshan Khan was killed during a robbery by individuals dressed in police uniforms who opened fire inside their residence. The father expressed deep mistrust in the local police and accused the District West investigation team of protecting the actual perpetrators. He highlighted that despite previous requests to senior police officials for a change in the investigative team, no effective action has been taken. Consequently, the family has lost confidence in the current investigation process. The plea to the court requests that the murder investigation be transferred to an investigative body from another district, or specifically to the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) or Special Investigation Unit (SIU), to ensure a fair and thorough probe.
