فلم اور ٹی وی کی اداکارہ گوہر خان نے انھیں تھپڑ مارنے والے شخص کے بارے میں کہا ہے کہ اسے کس نے یہ حق دیا کہ میں کیا لباس پہنوں اور کیا نہیں۔

گذشتہ اتوار کو ممبئی کے فلم سٹی سٹوڈیوز میں ایک ریئلیٹی شو ’انڈیاز را سٹار‘ کی آخری قسط کی شوٹنگ کے دوران ایک شخص نے گوہر خان کو تھپڑ مار دیا تھا۔
منگل کو گوہر خان نے میڈیا سے بات کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ’اس شخص کو کس نے یہ حق دیا ہے کہ میں کیا پہنوں اور کیا نہیں، کس کو یہ حق ہے کہ اگر کوئی لڑکی آپ کی مرضی کے خلاف کوئی لباس پہنتی ہے تو اس کے ساتھ ایسا سلوک کرو۔‘
گوہر خان کے مطابق: ’مذہب کے نام پر اپنی بیہودہ حرکتوں کو منصفانہ ٹھہرانا اور بھی جاہلیت ہے۔ اگر ایک اداکارہ ایسی ذہنیت کا شکار ہو سکتی ہے تو عام عورتیں اور لڑکیاں اس ملک میں کیسے محفوظ رہ سکتی ہیں۔‘
گوہر خان نے تھپڑ کے واقعے پر اپنے مداحوں کی حمایت پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔

توار کو ممبئی میں پولیس نے فلم اور ٹی وی کی اداکارہ گوہر خان کو ایک پروگرام کے دوران تھپڑ مارنے والے شخص کے خلاف مقدمہ درج کر لیا تھا۔
پولیس نے ملزم اقبال کے خلاف چھیڑ چھاڑ کی دفعہ 354 کے تحت مقدمہ درج کیا اور انھیں پیر کو بورولي کی عدالت میں پیش کیا گیا۔
